01/27/2020 Agency GOODWILL initiated a roundtable discussion on the implementation of the project for the industrial cultivation of the Australian Red-clawed Crayfish in the Zhytomyr region, Ukraine. The main guest of the event was our partner, a representative of the Danish investor group Peter Larsen.
Roundtable participants were experts on aquaculture Mykola Svitelskyi (Head of the Department of Bioresources and Aquaculture of ZhNAEU ), Oles Bezusyi (Research Fisher of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences), aquarium expert Valentyn Pivovarchuk and aqua farm grill expert Ihor Reshetnyak.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the technological and economic aspects of growing Australian Red-clawed Crayfish, to identify the prospects for further collaboration between scientists, experts and practitioners in this field, and to justify the challenges and risks associated with industrial growth of Australian Crayfish. The implementation of this project will help attract foreign investment in the region, create new jobs, and develop an exotic niche industry.
