The MES of Ukraine project "Inclusive Model of Sustainable Development of Rural Communities in the Context of European Integration Perspective" (2017-2019) aims to form an inclusive model of sustainable development of rural communities, taking into account existing socio-demographic, economic and environmental problems of rural areas.
The project is based on European experience in establishing a modern human-centered model of rural development, which, unlike the traditional agro-centric model, ensures consideration of the interests and needs of the rural population and equal access to public goods.
The national model of inclusive development of rural communities takes into account: the specifics of land market formation; organizational and institutional support for community economic development based on cooperation and diversification; environmental threats; natural attractions of rural areas.
